Eld -El – Fitri : Oyo House of Assembly Clerk Felicitates with Muslim faithfuls, harps on spirit of love and tolerance

The Clerk of the Oyo State House of Assembly Mrs Yetunde Oludara Awe is felicitating with Muslim faithfuls all over the world on this year’s Eid – El-Fitri celebration, urging them to imbibe the lessons learnt of the month of Ramadan.

 “On behalf of  the Rt Hon Speaker,all Hon Members and Management staff of Oyo State House of Assembly ,I congratulate Oyo State House of Assembly Muslim Community and Muslims all over the world on the glorious end of the holy month of Ramadan and I pray for reward to all for  fasting during Ramadan and forgive all shortcomings”.

According to the statement ,”Muslims should have faith that all prayers and supplications made before and during the month of Ramadan has been accepted “.

The statement further notes that Ramadan period inculcates devotion, patience, humility, tolerance, forgiveness, kindness and other virtues which should be maintained before, during  and after the fasting period is over.

There should be continuos prayers for Nigeria and most especially Oyo State for wisdom for our leaders, peace , progress and prosperity “

The month of Ramadan helps to improve on morality,character, refines minds in pursuit of higher goals for which there should be no turning back”

The statement then wishes all Muslims and non Muslims alike, a fun filled holiday period .
