Makinde Grace Golf Club Celebration In Ibadan, Solicits Support For Good Governance Continuity

The Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde, made a special appearance at the celebratory event of the Ibadan Golf Club, where he expressed gratitude for their unwavering support during the electioneering period. The governor also called for continued support from the club members to surpass the achievements of the previous administration’s “OmiTuntun 1.0” initiative.
In the presence of the Golf Club Captain, Mr. Tunji Oladosu, Governor Makinde extended his appreciation to the members of the Ibadan Golf Club for their consistent backing. He acknowledged their invaluable contributions to his successful election campaign and emphasized the importance of their continued support for the betterment of his government.
He further expressed his commitment to the sport of golf and announced that he would actively participate in the club’s activities, promising to make two appearances each month to play his best sport alongside the club members. The governor also pledged his ongoing support to the club, building upon his previous contributions.
The celebratory event also featured the OmiTuntun 2.0 Victory Tournament, in which Ibe U emerged as the overall winner, showcasing exceptional golfing prowess. Ibe U was awarded a prize of 1.850 million Naira for his remarkable achievement.
The event marked a significant occasion for both Governor Makinde and the Ibadan Golf Club, emphasizing their shared commitment to progress and the promotion of sports within the community.
